In partnership with AWWA, OneMakerGroup transformed an existing space into a fully equipped makerspace, tailored for accessibility and hands-on learning. This inclusive environment supports creative exploration through intuitive layouts and multi-purpose workstations.

The AWWA Makerspace makeover focused on transforming an existing space into a functional, inclusive, and inspiring creative environment. Every element was carefully considered to support diverse user needs, while maintaining flexibility and modularity for educators and caregivers.
- Redesigned Layout for Accessibility & Flow:
The floorplan was reconfigured to maximize open space, improve navigation, and ensure wheelchair accessibility. - Custom Pinewood Fixed Tables:
Durable, natural wood tables provide sturdy work surfaces for various crafting and technical activities. Their fixed placement anchors the room’s functionality and ensures stability for users with motor difficulties. - Modular Shelving and Storage Solutions:
Aluminum profile shelving systems and existing storage units were retained and repositioned for better visibility and reachability. Tools and materials are now easier to locate, promoting independent use and reducing clutter.
